Hi Blogging Friends,
I’m excited to present the beauty of Paris with inspiration from Fun Stampers Journey new collection called Vintage Paris. This collection debuted at the FSJ Convention in Phoenix this past June, and it was love at first sight. It presents a variety of Paris related images in our beautiful red rubber stamps as well as some matching dies, gorgeous laces and printed paper that is to die for. Of course there are card stock coordinates. It definitely has become one of my favorite collections and offers many opportunities to create the wonderful feel of Paris.
The first card is called Paris Girl, and I used a new system of coloring that Richard demonstrated at convention. It uses blending brushes, re-inkers and blending solutions. You can view this technique here.

Last summer, we visited Paris for a week. I am really enjoying the Vintage Paris Collection and find it constantly brings to mind the amazing week we spent in France. This set was designed by Richard Garay, and offers the delicate, but sophisticated design you would expect to find in a focus on Paris. There are a variety of stamp designs offered, and I was so pleased to see that among the dies, was the Eiffle tower. This is a set I will have to bring out often.
