I love the Fun Stampers Journey stamp set called Star Bright. There are so many possibilities to use this in a variety of themes. This stamp set was the Kit of the Month for January, and it was released for purchase in May, and is becoming popular because of it’s versatility. I created three cards from this set, and have many more ideas to use this in the future.
My first card is a little wistful, with a hazy star lite background and cut out stamped images.
I used a white card stock background and adhered a blue stamped paper and embellished with some bling. I stamped the blue paper with whipped cream ink by stamping off to give a more whispy look. I stamped various star shapes on a blue paper, and cut them out. They were attached with pop dots, and I added some sparkle dots for a little bling. I used a corner deco punch for the corners.
Materials Used; Huckleberry Blue FSJ card stock, Whipped Cream FSJ card stock, Huckleberry Blue and Whipped Cream FSJ ink, FSJ Sparkle Drops, foam adhesive, corner punch.
The second card was created with a patriotic theme.
I stamped the star images onto a white card stock base in red and blue inks. I added some FSJ ribbon on the side, and red sequins randomly. I love how the sequins make the images pop.
Materials Used; Whipped Cream and Huckleberry Blue FSJ card stock, Candy Apple ink and crimp ribbon and sequins, Huckleberry Blue FSJ ink, FSJ red sequins, pop dots and adhesive.
The third card presents as a card of encouragement or congratulations. It features a multi level star-flower, using cut out inked stars from the same set.
I seem to be on a roll with Huckleberry Blue card stock, but once again I chose it for my card base. It is definitely a favorite. I added a leaf design of FSJ printed paper and inked the sentiment directly on the printed paper. I used the same deco stars and stamped them in two ink colors. It is truly a multi layered star flower. Pretty rhinestones give it some sparkle.
Supplies used are, Huckleberry Blue card stock, FSJ printed paper, rhinestones, Huckleberry Blue and Lovely Blue ink, pop dots, adhesive.am
All of the supplies used in these projects can be found in the FSJ catalog at this website: www.funstampersjourney.com/bloomsbysharon However the printed paper, which is currently on sale, is only available until it is sold out, or is the last day of May. There are many other items which will be retired also, including stamps, printed papers and more.
Thank you so much for your interest in my post.
Until next time,
